Spotlighting Getting Started
Niamh was part of the 2024 Spotlighting Getting Started cohort, and she exhibited her AIR collection at The Goldsmiths Centre in May-July 2025.
Materialise 7
In 2024, Niamh was selected to exhibit with Materialise, a showcase of outstanding emerging designers and makers chosen from Scottish universities. Organised by Fife Contemporary, the exhibition celebrated graduates who had spent the past year pushing the boundaries of their practice—developing new collections, exploring materials, and finding their voice as makers. Niamh’s work was exhibited at both the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow and the V&A Dundee, alongside a cohort of Scotland’s most promising design talent.
Alloy
Following on from her AIR collection, Niamh exhibited her collaboration pieces with Alice Biolo at the Alloy exhibition at the Alsolike Gallery during London Design Week in 2024
Conversion Collaboration
The collaboration emerged as a dialogue between Niamh and Alice’s contrasting styles. It began with Alice creating the initial necklace, to which Niamh responded using her own distinctive approach. This back-and-forth exchange continued, each piece influencing the next, until it culminated in Niamh’s final necklace—an expressive design with her beads spilling out in a dramatic contrast to Alice’s sleek and refined original piece..
Hybrid
Hybrid was the 2024 AIR Exhibition for GSA Silversmithing, Jewellery, and Textiles residents. The show featured collections from seven artists, along with collaborative works. Niamh presented her latest pieces—3D printed necklaces developed over the course of her residency. She also exhibited two collaborative projects: Conversion, created with Alice Biolo, and Tickled Pink, made in partnership with Amy Findlay.

Elements
As part of her residency, Niamh was invited to showcase elements of her degree collection at the Elements Festival of Jewellery, Silver and Gold in 2023. Held at Lyon & Turnbull Auction House in Edinburgh, this event offered a public platform for graduates from Scotland’s art colleges to exhibit and sell their contemporary jewellery and silver pieces. Niamh presented alongside fellow residents Alice Biolo and Lucy Johnson, representing The Glasgow School of Art
New Designers
In 2023, Niamh showcased pieces from her degree collection at New Designers in London, the UK’s leading graduate design exhibition. Held at the Business Design Centre, the event brings together thousands of emerging creatives from across the country. Niamh exhibited alongside her GSA cohort, representing the innovative spirit of the school’s Silversmithing and Jewellery programme.
Degree Show
Glasgow School of Art
“Felicity: the ability to find appropriate expression for one’s thoughts“ Collection
For her degree show, Niamh presented Felicity—a vibrant and emotionally charged collection exploring self-expression through materiality. Drawing on the meditative processes of needlework and hand-weaving, she combined laser-cut acrylic, mother-of-pearl, neon threads, silver, and woven wire to create complex, expressive forms. Rooted in research on the historical role of needlework in women's lives, the collection reflects on identity, emotion, and the power of craft as a space for free thought and connection.
Niamh was awarded the
Richard H Arroll Memorial Prize
